Consistent quality, easy renewal

I came back for the 21-Hour Continuing Education Course this year after using them last time around. Just like before, the course material was straightforward and easy to follow on my laptop. No surprises, which is exactly what I need when juggling work. They reported my hours to the state quickly, just like they did for my renewal two years ago. Good to know I can rely on them.

Decent course, good support

I recently took the 60-Hour Pre-License Course. Ordering was simple on their website. The course content was comprehensive; I found the Michigan Residential Code Book module especially helpful for my exam prep. Delivery of the physical book took about 5 days to reach my address in Michigan. I had a technical question about one of the practice exams, and their support team responded within a few hours. The online platform worked fine on my tablet too. I passed my exam, so it did its job. Only minor thing is some of the videos felt a bit dated, but the information was sound.

So happy with my course!

I just finished the Michigan Builders License Exam Prep and I feel so ready for my test! The practice questions were spot on. I really appreciated how clear everything was laid out. It was super easy to navigate the modules. I'm telling everyone at the office about this place. Definitely using them again for my CE hours!

Anyone know if they report your CE hours directly to the state or do I have to do that myself? Kinda lazy, hoping they handle it.

E Elizabeth Scott 3 weeks ago
They report it for you. You just complete the course and they send it in. Made renewal pretty painless.

Yeah, they got it. You'll get your certificate right away, but they handle the state reporting part. One less thing to worry about.

Hey, wondering if anyone's done the 60-hour pre-license course. How long did it actually take you to get through it? Trying to plan my study time.

S Stephanie 4 weeks ago
It's pretty self-paced, you get six months to finish it from when you sign up. I usually did a few hours here and there after work.

L Laura C. 3 weeks ago
Yeah, I dragged mine out for like 4-5 months. No rush really, and you can re-watch stuff if you need to. Plenty of time.

What happens if you fail those practice exams? Do you get locked out or something?

D Daniel T. 1 month ago
Nah, you can just retake them. They're just practice, helps you get ready for the real thing. No penalties or anything.

S Sandra 1 month ago
You can retake them as many times as you need to. They're there to help you learn, not to block your progress. Don't sweat it.

Are these courses legit? Like, does the state of Michigan actually recognize them for the license requirements?

A Amanda Green 1 month ago
Yep, 100%. They're state-approved, it's not some fly-by-night thing. My cert was accepted no problem.

S Sam Campbell 1 month ago
Yeah, confirmed. I used them for my pre-license and my buddy just did his CE through them. Both went through fine with the state.

Is there usually a good discount around the holidays, like Christmas or New Year's? Thinking about getting the 60-hour course then.

L Laura Anderson 2 weeks ago
December/January is a big time for them. I got my pre-license course for like $40 off around then. Definitely watch for seasonal sales.

Yeah, they often have sales around then. I think I snagged a pretty good deal on a CE package right after New Year's a couple years ago. Keep an eye on their site.
